As the last family to pay their respects to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ba (living in District 8, Ho Chi Minh City) and her two young grandchildren ran from the gate to the Reunification Hall at around 10 p.m. Mrs. Ba said that the whole family had been preparing since the afternoon, but because of the prolonged heavy rain, the desire to burn incense to pay their respects to the General Secretary was postponed until now.
To Mrs. Ba, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is a core Party member, honest, ethical, and a person who always thinks about the people all his life.

Today at the Reunification Hall, Ho Chi Minh City from 7am to 10pm, 691 delegations came to pay their respects to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong (38,127 people). Of the 691 delegations, 49 were from the central government, 19 were from foreign countries, and the remaining 632 were domestic.
