This event marks not only the 7th time it has been held, but also the 3rd time the Data Center & Cloud Infrastructure (DCCI) Summit has taken place in Ho Chi Minh City - the leading technology and digital economic center in Vietnam.

With the theme "Green tech, Green future", DCCI Summit 2025 focuses on providing sustainable technology solutions, helping businesses optimize operations, enhance competitiveness and move towards green growth. This is an important strategic direction, not only contributing to the country's sustainable development goals but also creating opportunities for Southern businesses to increase economic value from technological innovations.

The highlight of DCCI Summit 2025 is the in-depth seminars with the participation of more than 30 prestigious partners, providing diverse and in-depth perspectives on digital infrastructure, cloud computing and especially artificial intelligence (AI).

In the wave of global digital transformation, AI is acting as the “new operating brain” of the economy – boosting productivity, reshaping value chains and creating new business models.

From national strategy to corporate strategy, the ability to exploit and apply AI is determining global competitive position. AI has created a new economy called: the World AI Economy. This is no longer a futuristic concept – it has clearly taken shape, is creating value at an unprecedented speed and scale, and is gradually becoming a strategic priority for governments as well as leading businesses around the world.

The world's leading market research firm IDC estimates the impact of AI on the global economy, creating a value of about 1,150 billion USD in 2024. By 2030, this figure is forecast to increase nearly 5 times, equivalent to 5,000 billion USD, mainly due to increased revenue and cost reduction through automation, data-driven decision making and improved operational efficiency.

This is why experts believe that AI will be the core driving force shaping global economic growth in the next decade.

On the other hand, the strong increase in demand for AI usage and application has led to a significant increase in the requirement for digital infrastructure development, including data centers, cloud computing platforms and high-speed connection networks.

It can be said that AI has been posing a huge challenge in terms of rapidly increasing power density on the rack. And the choice of technology has also become very important in calculating the planning and design of DC infrastructure.

In addition to the engaging content on AI, the discussions at the conference also emphasized the urgency of integrating green technology solutions into business strategies and sustainable development of enterprises, especially in the context of data center infrastructure and cloud platforms increasingly occupying a key position.

Topics around optimizing data center performance through energy-efficient design, adopting efficient cooling technologies and renewable energy, along with flexible cloud architecture to minimize carbon emissions, attracted great interest.

Guests and business representatives attending the event all agreed that accessing and investing in sustainable infrastructure, green technology and AI is not just a trend but a necessity, creating competitive advantages and promoting innovation.

At the event, businesses connected together, affirming Ho Chi Minh City's leading role in the global digital economy.

In recent years, Ho Chi Minh City has continuously witnessed rapid development in the field of digital transformation, with strong movements in technology infrastructure, investment thinking and business development strategies based on digital technology.

With its position as the largest economic and trading center in the country, attracting strong FDI and being a hub for logistics, production - export as well as high-tech consumer market, Ho Chi Minh City is creating a boost for ICT infrastructure, Data Center and Cloud, becoming a regional digital technology center and a leading destination for Cloud, AI, Big Data services.

In addition, efforts from the Government are being transformed into specific mechanisms, policies and technological initiatives, also creating strong momentum for the development of the city's digital infrastructure, opening up a breakthrough period in the regional "digital race".

With the success of this year's event, DCCI Summit continues to affirm that this is an important forum, contributing to shaping and promoting the development of a sustainable digital economy in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
