The Lao Cai – Vinh Yen 500kV transmission line project is a national key project that has been approved for investment by the Prime Minister. This is a 500kV double-circuit transmission line with a total length of 229.5km, with a total of 468 pole foundation locations.
Realizing the importance of the project, the Executive Committee of Phu Tho Provincial Youth Union has urgently developed and implemented a plan for a peak emulation campaign to volunteer to support the project's construction. The plan was issued based on the direction of the Central Youth Union Secretariat, with the specific goal of maximizing the role, responsibility and vanguard spirit of youth union members in participating in ensuring national energy security, contributing to the successful implementation of socio -economic development goals.

In Dai Dinh commune, promoting the spirit of "youth can do anything difficult", the commune's Youth Union quickly mobilized youth union members to deploy the peak period. Comrade Vu Viet Dai - Vice Chairman of the commune's Fatherland Front, Secretary of the Dai Dinh commune Youth Union shared: "We have mobilized 20 union members and youth to participate in supporting the site clearance for 2 households. The work includes cutting down trees within the clearance area, transporting furniture, and moving assets for people to dismantle their houses and hand over the site to the construction unit. In the near future, union members and youth will continue to support the remaining 2 households."
The image of the "green shirts" working hard in the summer sun, working with the people to dismantle each brick and transport each item really touched people's hearts. Mr. Tran Tuan Anh (Dai Dinh commune) shared: "When I was able to participate in this activity, I felt very proud. This is not only a responsibility but also an honor for the youth in contributing their efforts to a key national project".

Along with the activities to support site clearance, the work of propaganda and mobilizing the masses has always received special attention from the Youth Union at all levels. In Bang Luan commune, although the construction unit has not yet determined the specific corridor route, the Standing Committee of the Commune Youth Union has proactively deployed a team of 9 comrades to each household in the clearance area to propagate and explain the purpose, meaning and importance of the project.
Comrade La Ngoc Diep - Vice Chairman of the Commune Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Bang Luan Commune Youth Union said: "We focus on propaganda so that people understand and comply with the State's policy. When the construction unit determines the corridor route, we will organize to participate in supporting people to dismantle assets and hand over the site."
