Useful playground for journalists
The Provincial Press Awards are held annually to celebrate the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21), receiving the active response and participation of a large number of reporters, reporters, and collaborators from press agencies in the province and local resident agencies with many excellent works in various types of journalism. This is a useful playground, encouraging and motivating the spirit of journalists.

After a year of performing the task, many topics have been exploited by reporters, reporters, and collaborators inside and outside the province to have quality works in many different forms: printed newspapers, visual newspapers, audio newspapers, electronic newspapers, and press photos. To have excellent works participating in the contest, the authors prepared quite early from the stage of choosing topics to collecting information, going to the base,... devoting all their heart to have a well-prepared work. According to reporter Pham Van Dinh ( Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television), having participated in the Provincial Press Awards for many years, he always considered this a useful playground to strive, improve his skills, invest his intelligence, effort, build good and quality articles and press works that are highly appreciated by readers as well as improve the quality and reputation of the local Party newspaper.

Long An Television Football Cup - an exciting playground in response to the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day
According to Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association of the province - NB Chau Hong Kha, the annual Provincial Press Award is held as a big playground for journalists inside and outside the province to encourage and motivate spirit, create a competitive atmosphere for creative labor, improve the quality of activities of the press and the activities of the Provincial Journalists Association. The Award gathers many authors to participate with excellent press works , with investment, good social effects; vividly and honestly reflect all aspects of social life; discover new factors, typical advances, outstanding and pressing issues and events, important and urgent tasks of the province in the fields of socio-economics, national defense - security, Party building, building the political system, studying and following the ideology, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh, etc.
Through each organization of the award, press agencies, reporters, and journalists will draw good, useful, and effective experiences in their professional activities, thereby continuing to produce quality press products, contributing to propagating and bringing the Party's guidelines, policies, and resolutions, the State's policies and laws into life, honestly reflecting the people's aspirations, contributing to political stability, socio-economic development, and ensuring national defense and security.
Life is constantly developing and with it, social events and issues need to be reflected, developed, praised and criticized. Therefore, organizing and awarding press works in a timely manner is the motivation for the team of journalists to constantly work and create, contributing to the development of the provincial press.

Many meaningful activities
In order to review the glorious tradition, important and great contributions, and noble mission of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press; to encourage, motivate, praise, honor and show gratitude to generations of journalists and press agencies with outstanding achievements, the province organized many activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).
Many propaganda activities for the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day
Specifically, the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day is chaired by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; organized by the Provincial Organizing Committee for Major Holidays; coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam Journalists Association of the province and related agencies, held on the morning of June 19, 2025, at Thong Nhat Hall. Activities of the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day include: Congratulatory letters from provincial leaders; Provincial leaders organize delegations to visit and congratulate press agencies in the province, representative offices, press agencies inside and outside the province; meetings with press reporters inside and outside the province.
The 2025 Provincial Press Awards Ceremony, the art program to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day; exhibition, display, introduction of achievements of 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press and Long An Provincial Press associated with important events of the country. In addition, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, the Vietnam Journalists Association of the province , Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station also have activities to organize a visit to the source, visit relatives of martyred journalists; film screenings, documentary reports on the process of building and developing the provincial press since its establishment; organize the 4th Long An Television Cup Football Tournament in 2025; award the 1st Long An Newspaper Reportage, Reportage and Photo Contest in 2024;.../.
