At the forum, Mr. Le Nguyen Bao, Director of Duy Tan University, said that young human resources are the "key" to help tourism make a breakthrough in the new period. Mr. Bao affirmed: "Today's students not only need to be good at their profession, but also need to have a global mindset, cultural understanding and a spirit of integration. They are the future 'tourism ambassadors' of the region."

The Director of Duy Tan University also believes that higher education needs to play a bigger role in developing the tourism industry, through links between schools, businesses and international organizations. This will help students not only access knowledge but also have the opportunity to practice in a professional environment, forming a creative and dynamic workforce.

Within the framework of the forum, thematic discussion sessions focused on many practical issues such as: aviation connectivity, visa policy, ensuring tourist security, digitalizing services and training young human resources.

Former ASEAN Secretary General Le Luong Minh said: "Tourism is not just about numbers, but a cultural bridge and a driving force for development. Education will be the foundation to help form a capable successor team to promote regional cohesion."

The program is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea and the ASEAN-Korea FTA (AKFTA) Fund.
