Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) honored the four valedictorians with the best entrance results in the 2025 admissions. Notably, the valedictorians all achieved perfect scores in the math section.

This morning (September 5), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) held the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025-2026. At the ceremony, the school honored the 4 valedictorians with the best entrance results in the 2025 admissions period.

This year, the top scorer of the combined admission method of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology is Le Minh Khoi (Nguyen Trai High School, Khanh Hoa ) with a total score of 97.84/100.

At the same time, Minh Khoi also scored 1,112/1,200 points in the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam with a perfect score of 300 points in math. In the high school graduation exam, this male student also scored 27.25/30 with two perfect scores of 10 in math and physics. This male student also won first prize in the provincial math competition.

Le Minh Khoi was admitted to the Computer Science major at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.

Also admitted to the school this year is Mai Quang Minh Tri, the valedictorian of the 2025 competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University, with a score of 1,122/1,200 points. This student is also the runner-up of the comprehensive admission method, admitted to the electrical and electronic engineering major.

Having been the valedictorian of the National High School for the Gifted ( Hue City), Minh Tri has a special love for math. Before reaching 1,122 points in the second round of the competency assessment test, Tri had achieved 1,047 points in the first round. With 29.75 points in the high school graduation exam, Lam Minh Huy (Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted, Dak Lak Province) has become the valedictorian with the highest high school graduation exam score at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology this year. This male student is also the national runner-up in block A00 of the 2025 high school graduation exam with math-physics-chemistry scores of 10-10-9.75 respectively. The new student majoring in electrical-electronic engineering also scored 1,101 points in the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test, of which the scientific thinking section achieved a perfect score of 300 points.

Also becoming the valedictorian with the highest high school graduation exam score at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology this year is Vo Truong Gia Huan (Bac Lieu High School for the Gifted, Ca Mau province).

Previously, Vo Truong Gia Huan was the national runner-up and Ca Mau province valedictorian of the high school graduation exam with a total score of 29.75 in block A00. In which, the male student achieved a perfect score of 10 in two subjects: math and physics.

In addition, this new student of the electrical-electronics-telecommunications-automation-microchip design group also achieved 931 points in the competency assessment exam.
