Dinh Trang Thuong Commune Party Committee: Promoting the spirit of solidarity, creating sustainable development

On July 25, the Party Committee of Dinh Trang Thuong commune (Lam Dong province) solemnly held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

This is a political event of special significance after the merger of three communes Tan Lam, Tan Thuong and Dinh Trang Thuong into a new administrative unit.

Comrade K'Mak, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Council attended and directed the Congress.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", this Congress lays an important foundation for a new development path, aiming to build Dinh Trang Thuong into a locality with comprehensive and sustainable development by 2030 and the following years.

Attending and directing the Congress were comrade K'Mak, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council. Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Party Building Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Office; local leaders; former commune leaders through the periods and 170 official delegates representing 426 party members in the entire commune Party Committee.

During the past term, the socio -economic situation of Dinh Trang Thuong commune remained stable and developed synchronously. After the Covid-19 pandemic, the basic economic targets were completed, and the average income per capita exceeded the resolution.

Agriculture plays a key role, with over 8,000 hectares of coffee and many valuable crops such as durian, avocado, macadamia; 4 3-star OCOP products are recognized. Farm economy, high-tech application is strongly developed, infrastructure is invested over 110 billion VND.

Comrade Trieu Tri Kien, Secretary of the Party Committee of Dinh Trang Thuong commune, delivered the opening speech of the Congress.

There has been much progress in the cultural and social fields, traditional culture has been preserved, education and health care have been given attention, and social security has been ensured. The rate of schools meeting national standards has reached 87.5%, and universal health insurance has remained above 95%.

Planning, environment, and construction order work are implemented effectively, and urban order is gradually restored.

National defense and security were maintained; the movement for the whole people to protect national security was effective; traffic accidents decreased in all three criteria.

From that foundation, the commune gradually shifted its economic structure to a reasonable level, aiming at sustainable development and improving the quality of people's lives.

The work of Party building and political system building in Dinh Trang Thuong for the 2020-2025 term has achieved many important and comprehensive results, contributing to improving leadership capacity, fighting strength and consolidating people's trust.

Political, ideological and ethical work is seriously implemented, associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; 100% of cadres and party members develop annual training plans.

Organizational and personnel work was carried out in accordance with principles and effectively; 77 new party members were admitted, and 100% of grassroots party organizations fulfilled their tasks well.

Inspection and supervision work is focused on, violations are strictly handled; corruption and negativity prevention and control are promoted, maintaining Party discipline.

Mass mobilization work, administrative reform and activities of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations have had many clear changes, promoting the strength of great national unity.

National target programs have been effectively implemented. Rural areas have changed their appearance, people's lives have improved, and the poverty rate has dropped to 3.9%.

The results achieved are a solid foundation for the commune to continue to develop rapidly and sustainably in the new period.

With the spirit of innovation, proactiveness and high political determination, the Party Committee of Dinh Trang Thuong commune for the 2025-2030 term identified 17 main targets in the fields of economy, society, environment, national defense - security and Party building.

In particular, by 2030, the average income will reach 85 million VND/person/year, production value will reach 225 million VND/ha, the poverty rate will decrease by at least 0.5%/year, forest coverage will reach 19%, 95% of the population will participate in health insurance, 98% of households will use the national grid and 100% of inspection and supervision plans will be implemented.

To achieve the above goals, the action program sets out 9 groups of solutions for comprehensive socio-economic development and 8 breakthrough contents in Party building, administrative reform, digital transformation, strengthening national defense and security and promoting national solidarity.

This is an important foundation for building Dinh Trang Thuong commune to develop rapidly, sustainably and comprehensively in the new period.
