In the eulogy, comrade Nguyen Tien Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Vi Xuyen commune, emotionally recalled the steadfast will to stay, fight and heroically sacrifice the heroic martyrs at the Vi Xuyen Front; at the same time, he emphasized that the Fatherland always remembers the merits, sacrifices and contributions of previous generations, revolutionary predecessors, heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers and people with meritorious services to the revolution who heroically fought, devoted, sacrificed their blood and bones, and contributed to the cause of fighting for national independence, national reunification, building and defending the Fatherland.

With all affection and respect, the delegates lit incense, offered red wreaths, and respectfully bowed to commemorate the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for peace, independence, and national unification, and for the happiness of the people.
Immediately after the eulogy, the funeral procession and burial of the remains of the six martyrs was solemnly held. The six coffins covered with the national flag were brought to their resting place in new graves in the grounds of the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery.

General Trinh Van Quyet, local leaders and delegates were moved to release fresh flowers, bidding farewell to the martyrs to their final resting place. The incense smoke mixed with the blue sky, as a farewell and endless gratitude to the soldiers who sacrificed for the cause of protecting the Fatherland.

General Trinh Van Quyet kindly asked about his health, shared the difficulties and losses that the family is suffering due to the consequences of the war; at the same time, expressed his respect for the silent sacrifices of the former soldier and hoped that the family would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, overcome difficulties, and rise up in life.
