The first Congress of Ninh Binh Provincial Cultural Heritage Association, term 2024-2029

On May 24, the Organizing Committee for the establishment of the Provincial Cultural Heritage Association held the first Congress of the Provincial Cultural Heritage Association, term 2024-2029.

Since 2004, when the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association was established, representatives of those working in protecting and promoting the value of national cultural heritage, those who are passionate about the cause of protecting and promoting the value of national cultural heritage of Ninh Binh province have applied to join the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association.

On November 25, 2005, the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association issued Decision No. 143/QD-CT to establish the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association of Ninh Binh province under the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association.

Over 19 years of operation, the Ninh Binh Provincial Cultural Heritage Association has always been active, contributing to promoting the cultural heritage values of the locality in particular and the activities of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association in general. The Association always complies with the Charter of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association and the resolutions, decisions and directions of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association.

In order to further enhance activities to protect and promote the values of Vietnamese cultural heritage in general and Ninh Binh cultural heritage in particular, contributing to the construction and development of Vietnamese culture, especially now that Ninh Binh province is implementing tasks and solutions towards building Ninh Binh into a centrally-run city with the characteristics of a heritage city, the establishment of the Provincial Cultural Heritage Association meets the requirements of society and the aspirations of those who are dedicated to the cause of protecting and promoting the values of cultural heritage in the province.

At the first Congress, term 2024-2029, the Provincial Cultural Heritage Association announced the Decision of the Department of Home Affairs to allow the establishment of the Association; elected the Executive Committee of the Association consisting of 11 members and approved the Association's program of activities for the term 2024-2029. Mr. Nguyen Duc Long, Head of the Organizing Committee for the establishment of the Provincial Cultural Heritage Association, was elected as the Chairman of the Association.

Accordingly, the Provincial Cultural Heritage Association strives to promote its role to actively and effectively contribute to the cause of protecting and promoting the cultural heritage values of the homeland and the country with the following activities: Propagating and mobilizing organizations and individuals interested in cultural heritage, promoting the cause of socialization to mobilize all resources to serve the cause of protecting and promoting the value of heritage; researching and proposing to the province, relevant departments and branches policies and measures to protect and promote the value of national cultural heritage; participating in consulting, criticizing and evaluating topics, projects and works on protecting and promoting the value of cultural heritage at the request of competent state agencies and the requests of organizations and individuals in the province; participating in or directly organizing the implementation of topics and projects on protecting and promoting the value of cultural heritage at the request of competent agencies; propagating and mobilizing the development of new members...
