In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Provincial War Veterans Association Party Cell has focused on leading and directing the implementation of the set goals and key tasks. The movement "Veterans help each other reduce poverty, do good business " and other comradely activities continue to be promoted, bringing practical results. In 5 years, the provincial Veterans Association at all levels has mobilized members to help each other with over 1,000 working days, coordinated to visit and give gifts to over 1,500 members who are war invalids, sick soldiers, people with meritorious services and members in difficult circumstances; supported the elimination of 16 temporary and dilapidated houses. Up to now, the whole province has only 1,500 poor veteran households, accounting for 9.5%; over 1,000 near-poor households, accounting for 6.7%.
With specific solutions and efforts in the Association's work and emulation movements, the Association of War Veterans of Bac Kan province was awarded the Emulation Flag for 5 years of "Exemplary War Veterans" by the Central Committee of the Vietnam War Veterans Association, period 2019 - 2024; the Ministry of Public Security awarded a Certificate of Merit for implementing the emulation movement "All people protect national security" period 2019 - 2024; the Provincial People's Committee recognized the title of "Excellent Labor Collective"...
In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Provincial War Veterans Association Party Cell sets out directions and tasks with the following targets: 100% of cadres and party members are thoroughly informed, study and strictly comply with the Party's directives, resolutions and regulations, and the State's laws according to the plan, deploy the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; annually organize inspections of 20% of party members, supervise 100% of party members; build at least 01 model of "Skilled Mass Mobilization"; strive to annually classify the Party Committee and Party Cell as having completed their tasks well; 100% of cadres and party members have completed their tasks well, of which 20% have completed their tasks excellently./.
