The ceremony marks an important step in the cooperative relationship between the two sides with the goal of developing high-quality medical facilities to serve community health care and train medical human resources.
According to the content of the Memorandum of Understanding, Phuong Dong Urban Construction Investment Company Limited will be responsible for preparing the site, legal procedures and investing in building infrastructure that meets medical standards. In addition, the company will give priority to leasing infrastructure to Hanoi Medical University Hospital for professional activities at reasonable costs, based on the principle of development cooperation, not for profit.
Hanoi Medical University Hospital will advise on design standards, infrastructure investment suitable for the medical facility model, support the development of organizational plans, personnel and operating procedures if Phuong Dong Company manages and operates itself. In addition, the hospital also considers cooperation in developing medical examination and treatment facilities in projects that are suitable for the general development orientation and legal regulations.
The implementation roadmap includes three phases: Phuong Dong Company completes the design and invests in infrastructure; the hospital appraises, consults on technical adjustments and operational plans; finally, the two parties sign an official cooperation contract and begin implementing operations.
The duration of the cooperation is one year from the date of signing. The two parties will discuss 3 months before the end to consider extending or terminating the cooperation.
The event marks an important step forward in combining infrastructure resources and professional capacity to improve the quality of medical services, develop a variety of modern medical examination and treatment facilities, and at the same time actively contribute to the overall development of Van Don area and neighboring provinces.
