Danang University: Proactive and pioneering in training high-quality human resources

With the role and position of a national key regional university, with a tradition of more than 30 years of construction and development (1994 - 2025), inheriting 50 years of training from member schools, Danang University has received attention from the Government, receiving key investments to implement the policy and task of developing into a National University.

The policy and task of developing into a National University are implemented according to Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW, Conclusion No. 79-KL/TW of the Politburo , one of the three leading training and scientific research centers, with prestige in the region and the world.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Director of Danang University, to achieve this strategic goal, Danang University always considers training quality as the red thread throughout. Improving training quality is both a social responsibility and vital in the current context.

Danang University organized a workshop on connectivity in training high-quality human resources for provinces and cities in the Central Highlands region.

Thanks to its potential, a team of more than 2,600 staff, including more than 1,600 lecturers (mostly trained and educated in advanced countries) with about 140 professors/associate professors, 800 doctors of science /doctors, Danang University has advantages in experience, tradition, and facilities to train high-quality human resources. With 18 fields, 147 undergraduate training majors, 49 master's majors and 32 doctoral majors, Danang University has most of the key majors and fields serving the cause of industrialization and modernization in the digital age, meeting the needs of society and learners.

In 2025, Danang University plans to enroll students in the following undergraduate training majors: Financial Technology; International Finance (Finance - Banking major); Artificial Intelligence in Business (Management Information Systems major); Data Analysis (Artificial Intelligence major); Energy Management (Thermal Engineering major); Railway - Metro Construction (Transportation Engineering major); International Transportation and Logistics (International Business major); Digital Design and Simulation in Mechanics; Automotive Software Engineering; Game Technology (Information Technology major); Pharmaceutical Chemistry; Psychology (clinical orientation).

This is a step to prepare Danang University to continue accompanying Danang City, providing timely training to serve key industries, realizing the goal of forming an International Financial Center, Free Trade Zone, Lien Chieu Port, high-tech zones, concentrated information technology... while providing human resources for the regional and international labor market.

In the coming time, Danang University will focus on implementing the following orientations: (1) Strengthening ties with high schools on STEM education and foreign languages ​​to improve input quality; (2) Promoting cooperation with businesses to train in line with employment needs; (3) Expanding international cooperation to mobilize more resources for development and international integration; (4) Focusing on relations with ministries, branches and localities to proactively grasp the needs of human resources to serve the development of training strategies and especially proactively participating in consulting and criticizing socio-economic development policies of localities, regions and the whole country, bringing universities closer to society; (5) Innovating university governance associated with digital transformation towards serving society and learners. Danang University continues to mobilize resources, drastically accelerating the University Urban Area Project (Hoa Quy - Dien Ngoc) and other key projects, creating a solid foundation for sustainable development.
