Rescuing a woman in distress while swimming in Nha Trang Bay

At around 6:30 a.m. on July 26, a drowning incident occurred in Nha Trang Bay, near Thanh Nien football field, Nha Trang ward. The victim was an elderly woman, residing in Nam Nha Trang ward, who unfortunately drowned while swimming in the sea, about 20m from shore.

Doctor checks the victim's health after first aid

As soon as the incident was discovered, a member of the Beach Rescue Team - Nha Trang Bay Management Board, quickly jumped into the sea, approached and brought the victim safely to shore after only a few minutes. At the shore, the rescue team promptly performed first aid measures such as: artificial respiration, chest compressions, helping the victim regain consciousness.

Authorities put the victim in an ambulance.

The victim was then transferred by ambulance to Khanh Hoa General Hospital for further treatment. According to information from the leader of the Nha Trang Beach Rescue Team, the victim's health is now stable.

The incident is a warning about safety when swimming at the beach, and at the same time acknowledges the quick and professional response of the rescue team, contributing to saving the lives of the victims.
