Rescue of Binh Dinh fishermen on Truong Sa island

On September 24, Truong Sa Medical Center, Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province received and treated a fisherman from Binh Dinh province.

Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. on September 23, while anchoring at Tien Nu Island, Mr. Dinh Le Bin, born in 2009, Hoai Hai Commune, Hoai Nhon Town, Binh Dinh Province, felt abdominal pain in the right iliac fossa. The patient was taken to Tien Nu Island for emergency treatment, diagnosed, and was transferred to a higher level of treatment by Tien Nu Island Military Medical Service.

The patient was taken to Truong Sa Medical Center for emergency treatment by Ship 404, Naval Region 4 Command at 5:30 p.m. on September 24. According to the diagnosis, the patient was monitored for enteritis and digestive disorders.

The patient was tested for blood count, blood biochemistry, X-ray, emergency ultrasound, rehydration, electrolytes, and nutrition by the team of doctors at Truong Sa Medical Center.

The military medical force is continuing to monitor and provide conservative treatment at the Medical Center; continue to treat and closely monitor the patient's condition, promptly reporting any abnormalities.
