On June 25, Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company (SBH) held the 2025 Labor Conference. Mr. Nguyen Duc Phu, Acting General Director and Mr. Nguyen Hong Viet, Chairman of SBH Trade Union chaired the conference.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Department of Home Affairs; Mr. Bui Van Thang, Chairman of the Trade Union of Power Generation Corporation 2 (EVNGENCO2); leaders of the Organization and Personnel Department of EVNGENCO2. On the side of SBH, Mr. Vu Huu Phuc, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Board of General Directors; Board of Supervisors and 78 delegates of the company's officers and employees attended the conference.

At the conference, representatives of the company's leaders and the trade union presented reports related to production and business activities, construction investment and welfare for employees, including: Summary report on the implementation of tasks in 2024 and the plan for tasks in 2025; Report on the implementation of the Workplace Democracy Regulations of the Trade Union Executive Committee; Report on the deduction and use of funds related to employees in 2024; Report on the results of the Conference of employees of units, participation in the development and amendment of regulations and rules related to employees.

According to assessment reports, in 2024, overcoming many difficulties and challenges, the collective leadership, staff and employees of SBH have promoted the spirit of solidarity and creativity to successfully complete assigned tasks. The company has implemented well the policies for employees: Paying social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance fully and on time. Paying salaries, holiday and Tet wages fully and in accordance with regulations. Employees receive regular health check-ups and are provided with full labor protection equipment. Collective labor agreements are always strictly implemented. The company also ensures good implementation of the contents of the issued Grassroots Democracy Regulations. All recommendations related to the legitimate and reasonable interests of employees are satisfactorily and promptly resolved by the company. The material and spiritual life of employees is increasingly improved. The movement to launch emulation on savings initiatives, innovative solutions, and production rationalization has been promoted and increasingly improved in quality, bringing high efficiency to SBH's production and business activities.

At the conference, delegates had a lively discussion, their opinions were in agreement with the reports presented, highly appreciating the efforts of the SBH leadership and employees over the past time, contributing significantly to the completion of the assigned plans and tasks. The units gave many practical presentations and solutions to contribute to improving the effectiveness of implementing the Grassroots Democracy Regulations at the workplace, successfully completing the 2025 production and business plan; at the same time, proposing a number of contents related to the rights of employees such as amending and supplementing a number of contents related to working conditions, improving spiritual life, taking better care of employees, etc.

After listening to the opinions of the employees, Mr. Nguyen Duc Phu, Acting General Director of SBH, acknowledged the good proposals and solutions, and responded to the proposals and recommendations of the employees in a satisfactory manner, receiving high consensus from the entire conference. He called on all staff and employees to promote the role and responsibility of each individual, to be proactive, creative, actively contribute their intelligence, efforts and enthusiastically respond to the activities and emulation movements launched by the Board of Directors and the Executive Board of the Trade Union; strengthen internal solidarity, overcome difficulties and challenges to successfully carry out the production and business tasks in 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SBH Vu Huu Phuc praised the efforts of the staff and employees who, together with the management board, have overcome many difficulties and challenges in the past time.

Directing the conference, Mr. Bui Van Thang, Chairman of EVNGENCO2 Trade Union, highly appreciated and commended the efforts of SBH staff and employees; at the same time, he requested SBH staff and employees to promote the achievements they have made, continue to contribute their intelligence, efforts and enthusiastically respond to activities and emulation movements, successfully carry out the tasks and plans for 2025 assigned by all levels, and build SBH for sustainable development.

The conference unanimously elected the People's Inspection Committee for the 2025-2027 term and the Periodic Dialogue Group at the workplace for the 2025-2026 term. Within the framework of the conference, the SBH Trade Union Executive Committee launched an emulation movement to successfully carry out the tasks and production and business plans for 2025.
