On the morning of July 25, at the Government Headquarters, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, Head of the Steering Committee for the Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, chaired a direct and online meeting with relevant departments, ministries, branches, agencies and People's Committees of provinces and cities to organize the Exhibition with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness."
Actively deploying exhibition preparation work
Reporting at the meeting on the completed work, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong said that up to now, the Ministry has coordinated with the Vietnam Exhibition Center and international consulting unit GL Events to design and allocate exhibition space for agencies, organizations and enterprises participating in the exhibition. Relevant departments, ministries, branches and agencies have received the premises and implemented the design of the exhibition space...
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a Communication Plan before, during and after the Exhibition; completed, issued and announced the use of the Exhibition's logo...
Some tasks in the coming time include: completing the overall layout of the Exhibition space, building a digital exhibition; completing the design plan for celebration decoration, visual propaganda, publications, promotional videos; developing a plan for organizing the construction of the exhibition; completing the security, order and health plan as well as the plan for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Exhibition and related documents.
The Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed to readjust and allocate the exhibition space appropriately; add exhibition space for 3 units (Supreme People's Court, Supreme People's Procuracy, State Audit) to fully and comprehensively display the picture of achievements of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam's rule of law state during 80 years of construction and development...

At the meeting, representatives of ministries, branches and localities reported on the progress of implementation; proposed plans related to the design and construction of booths according to the assigned plan; content of the implementation outline; proposed ways to organize food and local specialty booths; organized bus routes in Hanoi to serve the needs of people going to the Exhibition area...
Ensure completion of preparations for the Exhibition before August 15
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh affirmed that the Exhibition is an important and key event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day and must be organized solemnly, in accordance with the policies of the Party and State, with a scale, stature and significance commensurate with the proud 80-year journey of the country; attractive and appealing to a large number of people in the country and international friends; while ensuring practicality, safety and economy.
Taking note of the opinions expressed at the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister requested ministries, branches, agencies and localities to be highly determined and make great efforts to effectively carry out the tasks and work of organizing the Exhibition.
Ministries, branches, central agencies, People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities urgently focus on implementing assigned tasks and work in accordance with the direction of the Government, the Prime Minister, the Exhibition Steering Committee and approved Projects, Programs and Plans; ensuring progress, quality and efficiency.
During the implementation process, ensure "6 clarity: clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time, clear results"; proactively direct the handling of assigned tasks, difficulties and problems (if any) according to authority; promptly report to competent authorities on arising issues beyond authority.
Along with that, it is important to focus on reviewing the content of the exhibition outline and taking full responsibility for the content, images, information, documents, and artifacts displayed in the exhibition space of the agency or unit in charge.
Urgently adjust and complete the design plan, prepare for production, display construction and send the complete design plan back to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to synthesize, build the Exhibition on a digital platform, and complete the overall layout of the Exhibition.
The Ministries of Finance, Industry and Trade, Construction, National Defense, Public Security, and Foreign Affairs shall proactively coordinate the participation of organizations, enterprises, and units under their management or under their management; support, facilitate, allocate reasonable space, and advise on harmonious design in the overall exhibition space; review and verify the legality and representativeness of the enterprises introduced to participate in the exhibition...
Similarly, localities organizing fairs and product displays need to ensure that businesses operate legally and have a reputation in the production and business sector; products and services are representative of the industry and locality; meet quality and food safety standards (for consumer products); give priority to businesses with products certified by OCOP, VietGAP, ISO... or have made positive contributions to the community, society and environment.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested to speed up the implementation of assigned tasks and works, ensuring that all preparations for the Exhibition must be basically completed before August 15, 2025.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with relevant units to urgently develop and complete the overall design of the Exhibition space, to be completed before August 5, 2025; adjust and reallocate the space in accordance with the number of enterprises and organizations registered to participate in reality; add display space for 3 units; synthesize the completed designs of the units, urgently complete the overall layout of the Exhibition space and build a digital Exhibition; develop a plan to organize the Opening Ceremony, Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition...
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism urgently issued a detailed communication plan; synchronously deployed communication activities, ensuring a strong spreading effect and enhancing the effectiveness of propaganda for the event.
"There is not much time left to prepare, the workload ahead is still very large. Agencies and units must promote the highest sense of responsibility, determination, and drastic actions to make the Exhibition "80 Years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" a great success. This is not only a historic event, but also an inspirational highlight, demonstrating the country's aspirations for development and bright future," the Deputy Prime Minister stated./.
