By 2025, all 6/6 key targets of the Resolution will have been achieved and exceeded. The industrial production value in 2025 (at 2010 prices) is estimated at VND 21,300 billion, exceeding the target by 6.5%; the industrial production index will increase by an average of 9.5% per year. The internal industry structure will shift positively, gradually reducing the proportion of exploitation, increasing processing industry and supporting industry.
Investment in infrastructure development of industrial zones, clusters, logistics, and electricity has been focused and gradually synchronized. The occupancy rate of industrial zones reached 85.7%, and that of industrial clusters reached over 40%. The whole province has attracted 128 industrial projects with a total investment capital of VND 23,241 billion and USD 27.5 million. Many key industries have made new developments such as: high-tech plantation wood processing, construction materials production, deep mineral processing, clean energy, etc.
Along with that, the application of science and technology and digital transformation in production are focused. Environmental protection work is enhanced with 100% of seriously polluting production facilities being handled...
The above results were achieved because right from the time the Resolution was issued, the Provincial Party Standing Committee focused on leadership and direction; resolutely, synchronously, mobilizing the participation of the entire political system. Propaganda and dissemination work was widely deployed to cadres, party members and people; mechanisms and policies were issued promptly and specifically; inspection, supervision and urging work were strengthened, creating positive changes from awareness to action throughout the province.
In the coming time, Yen Bai province will continue to develop industry in a green, efficient and modern direction; promote investment attraction for deep processing and high-tech projects; invest in completing infrastructure of industrial zones and clusters; focus on developing high-quality human resources; strengthen state management of planning, environment, land, etc., creating a favorable environment for sustainable industrial development, affirming its role as an important driving force in the province's socio-economic development.
