In particular, the province has piloted the construction of the Yen Bai Tourism Portal at https://yenbaitourism.vn, along with the "Yen Bai Tourism" application on CHPlay and AppStore. The portal has updated data of 201 accommodation establishments, restaurants, 106 tourist attractions, and integrated with other platforms such as the Yen Bai Tourism Fanpage, the Provincial Information Portal website and the YenBai-S digital citizen application. In addition, the province has also deployed a tourist card (visit card) using QR codes to share information about tourism, OCOP products and tours.
Build a digital tourism database, connect and integrate it into the "Yen Bai - land and people" section on the YENBAI-S digital citizen application. This database includes 4 contents: image library, video library, book library, and Yen Bai song library, with more than 200 photos, 7 videos introducing the potential, specialties, cuisine, and tourist attractions of the province.
The province's sectors and localities have increased the application of information technology in tourism promotion, connecting destinations and services with tourists via the Internet; surveyed and deployed 24 free wifi hotspots in 7 localities: Yen Bai city, Nghia Lo town, Luc Yen, Mu Cang Chai, Van Yen, Van Chan, Tram Tau districts; provided free high-speed Internet service at tourist centers, locations, and tourism service establishments in the province.
At the same time, training courses on digital tools for civil servants, public employees and tourism business owners were organized effectively. Digital tourism solutions through virtual reality technology associated with preserving national cultural identity were deployed creatively and practically.
