Banking stocks lead, VN-Index surpasses 1,570 points

In the trading session on August 6, cash flow continued to flow strongly into banking stocks, and key industries such as securities, real estate and steel also traded positively, helping the VN-Index expand its upward momentum at the end of the session. At the end of the session, the VN-Index increased by 26.56 points to 1,573.71 points.

In this session, stocks that had a positive impact on the VN-Index included: TCB, VCB, VHM, MBB, HPG, CTG, BID, VPB, MWG, STB with an increase of more than 13.31 points. On the contrary, stocks: VRE,FPT , HVN, VSH, HHS, IMP, CRE, TMP, TBC, PGV were the stocks that had the most negative impact on the VN-Index with a decrease of more than 1.01 points.

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session decreased sharply compared to the previous session, reaching more than 36,932.75 billion VND.

Foreign investors net bought approximately 528 billion VND on the HoSE. On the buying side, STB shares were bought the most with a value of more than 250 billion VND, followed by MWG (167 billion VND), VIX (139 billion VND), VPB (136 billion VND)... On the contrary, FPT was sold the most (775 billion VND), followed by KDH (86 billion VND), VCI (69 billion VND), MSN (64 billion VND)...

Today's session, the VN30 group of stocks closed with only VRE down 2.75%, FPT down slightly, the remaining 28 stocks all increased.

Of which, STB increased the most by 4.64% to VND54,100/share, followed by MWG increasing by 4.47% to VND72,400/share, TPB increased by 3.41%, TCB increased by 3.24%, ACB increased by 3.2%, MBB increased by 3.03%, DGC increased by 2.71%, HPG increased by 2.65%, PLX increased by 2.32%, LPB increased by 2.27%, VPB increased by 2.26%, GAS increased by 2.21%,SHB increased by 2.18%, CTG increased by 2.15%, SSB increased by 2.04%, VNM increased by 2%.

Other codes such as: BID increased by 1.94%, MSN and SSI both increased by 1.88%, VHM increased by 1.56%, VJC increased by 1.34%, VCB increased by 1.3%, HDB increased by 1.25%, BCM increased by 1.16%,VIB increased by 1.04%, GVR increased by 1%, SAB, VIC increased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, only VCA in the steel group decreased slightly, the rest all improved. Besides HPG mentioned above, SMC increased to the ceiling price of 13,350 VND/share, DTL increased by 3.29%, HSG increased by 1.88%, TLH increased by 1.45%, NKG increased by 1.25%, HMC increased slightly.

The securities group traded quite positively when no code decreased, ending the session up 2.37%. Besides SSI mentioned above, VIX increased by 6.34%, HCM increased by 4.71%, VDS increased by 3.87%, DSE increased by 3.24%, AGR increased by 2.59%, DSC increased by 2.53%, TCI increased by 1.97%, TVB increased by 1.76%, ORS increased by 1.75%, VCI increased by 1.75%, FTS increased by 1.35%, CTS increased by 1.23%, BSI, TVS, VND increased slightly, APG stopped at reference.

Banking stocks were covered in green, closing the session up 2.14%. Besides the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, LPB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, other codes such as: EIB increased by 2.05%, MSB increased by 2.11%, OCB, NAB increased slightly.

The green real estate group dominated, closing with a slight increase of only 0.89%. Of which, the codes that increased strongly were: DXS increased by 3.64%, HAR increased by 4.29%, KBC increased by 2.16%, LDG increased by 2.83%, PDR increased by 2.63%, QCG increased by 3.76%... On the contrary, CRE decreased by 2.06%, DTA decreased by 1.64%, ITC decreased by 1.76%, TDH decreased by 1.04%...

Other stock sectors such as: telecommunications services increased by 4.18%, energy increased by 3.92%, essential aviation trade increased by 2.88%, insurance increased by 1.94%, food, beverage and tobacco increased by 1.37%, raw materials increased by 1.8%, transportation increased by 1.13%, consumer services increased by 1.03%, utilities, industrial goods increased slightly.

On the other hand, software and services decreased slightly.

* The Vietnamese stock market index maintained a strong upward momentum throughout the session today, with the VNXALL-Index closing up 49.38 points (+1.88%) to 2,673.64 points. Market liquidity was high, with a trading volume of over 1.362 billion units, equivalent to a trading value of VND38,640.48 billion. In the entire market, 295 stocks increased in price, 80 stocks remained unchanged, and 90 stocks decreased in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 268.66 points, up 2.54 points (+0.95%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 131.05 million units transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND 2,808,384 billion. The entire floor had 117 stocks increasing, 59 stocks remaining unchanged and 52 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed up 8.38 points (+1.46%) to 584.29 points. Trading volume reached over 94.19 million units, with a corresponding value of over VND2,378,744 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 23 stocks increasing, 4 stocks remaining unchanged and 3 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index decreased, closing at 107.46 points, down 0.04 points (-0.04%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 71.24 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than VND 937,428 billion. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 158 stocks increasing, 105 stocks remaining unchanged and 100 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 26.56 points (+1.72%) to 1,573.71 points. Liquidity reached over 1.352 billion units, equivalent to a trading value of VND37,901.98 billion. The entire floor had 247 stocks increasing, 47 stocks remaining unchanged and 78 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 32.88 points (+1.95%) to 1,723.31 points. Liquidity reached more than 555.13 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND19,433.44 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 28 stocks increasing and 2 stocks decreasing.

The five stocks with the highest trading volume were HPG (over 96.17 million units), SHB (over 92.28 million units), VIX (over 60.17 million units), TPB (over 52.72 million units), SSI (over 50.09 million units).

The five stocks with the highest price increase were HSL (7.00%), ANV (7.00%), DCM (6.94%), IDI (6.90%), DGW (6.86%).

The five stocks with the biggest price decrease were SBV (-6.98%), MDG (-6.77%), SSC (-5.74%), ABT (-5.07%), PIT (-3.47%).

* Today's derivatives market had 354,440 contracts traded, worth VND60,409.51 billion.
