The program is held at 3 stages: Nguyen Hue walking street stage (Saigon ward), Binh Duong ward park (Binh Duong ward) and Tam Thang tower stage (Vung Tau ward).



Since the afternoon, many people and tourists have flocked to Nguyen Hue walking street to find good spots, eagerly awaiting the program.





Before the opening ceremony, a heavy rain suddenly poured down, but many people and tourists still lingered, patiently waiting for the rain to stop so they could enjoy the program.

At the main stage on Nguyen Hue walking street, despite the heavy rain, many delegates and audiences still put on raincoats and hats, standing straight in front of the stage to watch. The image of a large number of people sharing the same joy, regardless of the weather, created an emotional and inspiring atmosphere.


Meanwhile, at stages in Binh Duong and Vung Tau, due to heavy rain and wind, the show had to be postponed and could only resume after 8:30 p.m., when the rain eased.



When the laser light, mapping effects combined with traditional music, "Independent Starlight" touched the hearts of thousands of audiences. The elaborately staged performances such as "Dat nuoc tinh yeu" performed by Trong Tan - Anh Tho, "Cho em gan anh them chut nui" sung by Huong Tram, or the segment "Ngon lua doc lap" combined with choreography with LED - mapping - laser brought a special visual and auditory experience.

The program also brings together many famous artists such as Duc Phuc, Giang Hong Ngoc, Vo Ha Tram, Meritorious Artist Tuan Lin, along with dance troupes, choir groups, DJ Mi Mi and circus artists Hien Phuoc - Thanh Hoa, creating a colorful, majestic yet traditional artistic picture.


Despite the unexpected rain, the perseverance of the audience, the sense of responsibility of the organizers and artists made this a special night of art. “Independence Star” is not only a performance, but also a symphony of national pride, affirming the desire for independence and freedom, as well as the tradition of resilience and solidarity of the Vietnamese people.



At exactly 9pm, Ho Chi Minh City simultaneously launched fireworks at 4 locations, including 3 high-altitude locations and 1 low-altitude location. The 15-minute fireworks display completely ended an emotional evening on September 2nd, leaving an unforgettable impression in the hearts of thousands of spectators and tourists.
