The stock market today (July 4) was quite positive when green covered the trading floors. VN-Index closed the session up more than 5 points, reaching nearly 1,387 points. HoSE recorded liquidity of more than 20,866 billion VND, 204 stocks increased in price.
FPT shares led the index's increase, adding 3.25 points. This code increased 3.81% during the session, to VND122,500/unit. Liquidity reached more than 12.8 million shares, equivalent to VND1,555 billion.

On the contrary, VIC stock held back the increase when it decreased by 2.75%, to 91,900 VND/unit. This code alone took away 1.6 points from the index. Foreign investors also net sold nearly 136 billion VND of this stock, the largest among the codes that were strongly net sold.
Along with VIC, some other real estate stocks also decreased, affecting the index such as VHM, VRG, DXS...
Meanwhile, foreign investors continued to net buy more than 1,708 billion VND on the HoSE floor, focusing on FPT, ACB , MWG, HPG...
Another notable point of the market today is that LDG shares of LDG Investment Joint Stock Company continued to increase to the ceiling price, up to 3,710 VND/unit. This code has increased to the ceiling price for 7 consecutive sessions since June 26.
In its explanatory document, LDG Investment stated that the stock price fluctuations were the result of objective supply and demand developments in the market, which were beyond the company’s control. LDG affirmed that its business operations were still operating normally and that there was no impact on the stock trading price.
However, the company added that it had just successfully organized the 2025 annual shareholders' meeting on June 26 - the day the stock price started to increase.
At this meeting, shareholders approved the 2025 business plan with net revenue of nearly VND 1,823 billion and after-tax profit of nearly VND 92 billion, a strong improvement compared to the loss of the previous year. According to the update from the enterprise, some key projects of LDG also had legal changes, creating the premise for early implementation such as in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
