Mr. Nguyen Van Tron, Chairman of the Trade Union of Annora Vietnam Shoes Company Limited, presented gifts to workers at the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" in 2025.
Annora Vietnam Shoes Co., Ltd. is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise with the largest number of workers and employees in the province, with nearly 22,000 people. The large number of employees leads to complicated labor relations. As the Chairman of the Trade Union, Mr. Tron is fully aware of his important responsibilities and tasks. He believes that for employees, workers or cadres, having their legitimate rights and interests taken care of will make them feel secure in their commitment and dedication. Therefore, he spends a lot of time meeting, contacting and talking with workers to understand their thoughts and aspirations. The Trade Union also sets up a suggestion box so that all workers can express their opinions and recommendations, and the Chairman of the Trade Union personally listens to phone calls presenting the recommendations and concerns of the workers. According to Mr. Tron, being close and intimate with workers helps union officials not only grasp the "prominent" issues in workers' lives, thereby having a practical basis for negotiating and building collective labor agreements, reasonable salary, bonus and welfare regimes for workers, but also be able to grasp the thoughts, aspirations and concerns of workers to promptly resolve and prevent the seeds of labor disputes.
Always putting the motto of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and employees first, Mr. Tron and the company's trade union executive board have repeatedly proposed support policies for employees and received consensus from the company's leaders through coordinating with the company's board of directors to organize employee conferences and regular dialogue conferences... In particular, the chairman of the trade union has proactively developed, negotiated and signed collective labor agreements with employers with more favorable terms than the law for employees in terms of wages, bonuses, job security, improving professional skills, and behavioral culture; implementing gender equality policies; increasing employee benefits such as: Support for meal allowances, attendance allowances, lodging allowances, and gasoline allowances; adjusting seniority allowances; foreign language allowances; increasing position allowances for staff. Every year, the company rewards employees with a 13th month salary equal to one month's basic salary for each person on the occasion of Lunar New Year; Organize voting and commendation for outstanding workers in the factory; on holidays and Tet, the company rewards employees with 50,000 VND/person/day; female workers who are 7 months pregnant work 7 hours/day but still receive 8 hours/day salary; female workers take a short 5-minute break every day, which is counted as working time...
As the Chairman of the Trade Union, Mr. Tron and the Executive Board of the Trade Union of Annora Shoes Vietnam Co., Ltd. have implemented many meaningful models and movements, receiving positive responses from employees. Typical examples are the movement "Cadres, union members, and employees learn foreign languages"; the model "Promoting initiatives and technical improvements among workers"; "Groups for pregnant women and raising young children"; the model "3V - For workers; for trade unions; for the development of enterprises"... Through these movements, many initiatives of employees have brought practical benefits, were highly appreciated by enterprise leaders, and were commended and rewarded by higher-level trade unions.
