When using the app and accessing the Travel Portal on the internet, tourists will be introduced to destinations, accommodation, shopping, entertainment... In particular, the application also has a sample schedule and a schedule creation function. Travelers can refer to the schedule or plan their own trip as desired.

Based on the system's database, visitors can customize the time, location, and order of the places they will go. The system will automatically calculate the distance, time, and estimated price, then display it on the map so that visitors can see the connection between points in the most intuitive way.

On these applications, tourists can easily look up contacts including police, travel, medical, post office, bank, ATM, transportation, dictionary, lookup, tour guide, public toilet, gas station, weather... so that tourists can travel with peace of mind.

Mr. Le Van Hanh (34 years old, residing in Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province) traveled to Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province for the first time. After searching for information online and being instructed to install the app “Quy Nhon – Binh Dinh Tourism”, Mr. Hanh was able to easily choose a place to visit and book a hotel to stay.

Mr. Hanh said that with just one QR code scan, he was able to easily install this app. “The app already has available places to visit, places to eat, places to stay, and sample itineraries for suitable travel at different times, so I no longer have to worry about where to go, what to do, where to eat, and where to rest,” Mr. Hanh shared.

Continuously updated on the app

Mr. Huynh Cao Nhat, Deputy Director of Binh Dinh Department of Tourism, said that the app “Quy Nhon – Binh Dinh Tourism” has been deployed for nearly 2 years and has been operating effectively in practice. Up to now, Binh Dinh Department of Tourism regularly updates information related to services and destinations on the tourism app to facilitate tourists to participate.

In the near future, the Department of Tourism will have more solutions running on the internet platform to create more favorable conditions for tourists to access Binh Dinh tourism products.

“We are working with the Department of Information and Communications to create a tourist card with an integrated QR code. When this card is released, it will greatly support tourists in accessing information about Binh Dinh tourism.

This card is as compact as an ATM card, with a QR code. One side has tourism information about Binh Dinh, the other side has product information from businesses participating in this program. Tourism service businesses can give this card to customers so that they can carry it and look up information anytime they need it,” said Mr. Nhat.
