Born into a poor family, her father was seriously ill, her mother was in poor health and had to raise three children by herself, but Diep Thi Bao Trang, a student at Tan Loi Secondary School, Trai Cau Commune, did not give up. Overcoming her circumstances, Trang studied hard and achieved high results. For many consecutive years, she was awarded the title of excellent student.
In particular, last school year, she excellently won third prize in the provincial competition for excellent students in Civic Education . Not only is Trang a good student, she is also very obedient and loves her mother. After each school day, she tries to help her mother with housework and take care of her younger siblings.
To further motivate Trang, “VNPT - Wings of Dreams” awarded her a scholarship worth 5 million VND. Sharing her joy with us, Diep Thi Bao Trang said: This scholarship not only has material value but is also a very meaningful source of encouragement for me and my family before the new school year. I will continue to try and practice hard to become a lawyer and contribute to society.
Also a student with special circumstances, Ma Thi Nu, from Dai Tu Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, had to face the pain of losing her mother at a young age, her father is blind, and Nu and her younger sister suffer from hemolytic anemia. Her grandparents are old and sick and no longer able to work.

However, Nu persevered and made an effort to go to school. Not only was she a good student and a good student, she also enthusiastically participated in movement activities and was loved by her friends and teachers. The scholarship worth 5 million VND from the program "VNPT - Wings of Dreams" to Nu not only helped her reduce her difficulties, but also lit a fire of belief for her to firmly continue on the journey ahead...
Held annually since 2013, the program "VNPT - Wings of Dreams" is jointly implemented by VNPT Thai Nguyen , Thai Nguyen Newspaper and Radio, Television, and the Department of Education and Training with the desire to share the current difficulties, thereby encouraging and motivating the spirit of striving and excelling in studying of students with difficult circumstances.
Over the past 10 years, the Program has accompanied hundreds of poor students in the province. In the 2024-2025 school year alone, 11 scholarships and 55 gifts were given to poor students who have overcome difficulties, providing them with the confidence to enter the new school year.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Thinh, Deputy Director of Thai Nguyen Department of Education and Training, assessed: Not only stopping at scholarships, "VNPT - Wings of Dreams" also sows in the hearts of poor students the belief, determination and aspiration to rise up, "wings" for them to realize their dreams and ambitions. From there, they become useful people contributing to the development of their homeland and country.
Behind each scholarship is a touching story of perseverance and overcoming difficulties. Although the road ahead is full of challenges, with the companionship and support from the program “VNPT - Wings of Dreams”, poor students in Thai Nguyen will always have arms to support and help their dreams fly far.
