On July 20, a man in Henan (China) posted footage of his nephew's wedding and attracted the attention of netizens. He said that it was his nephew's wedding, all the guests were present, and the hotel was ready to start the party. However, the wedding was suddenly canceled at the last minute.

The reason was that the bride asked for an additional 50,000 yuan (about 174 million VND) as a car payment, but the groom thought this request was too much so he refused to give it. Neither side would give in, and the groom was so angry that he decided to cancel the wedding.

Previously, the groom's family gave the bride 188,000 yuan (over 655 million VND). After a dissent, the two sides negotiated and the bride's family returned 180,000 CNY (about 627 million VND).

According to the person who posted the clip, marriage is not a business. Before the wedding, both parties agreed on the amount of money and wedding gifts, but asking for more money right after getting married is not appropriate.

The groom's family is not very well off, and to organize the wedding, they used up all their savings for the bride's dowry, wedding gold, gifts, etc. This uncle also said that 50,000 yuan is not a small amount of money, and an ordinary family would have difficulty managing it immediately.
