Pessimist thinks only of death
Review of My Family Suddenly Happy episode 49 aired on the evening of August 24 revealed the scene where to encourage Cong (Quang Su), Thanh (Doan Quoc Dam) rented a 16-seat car for the whole family to take Cong to the doctor. However, Cong is still very pessimistic about his health, so he asked Ha (Lan Phuong) to let Long sleep with him because he doesn't know how many more days he can stay with his nephew.

When Long asked: "Where are you going?", Cong coldly replied: "Uncle Cong is about to die. Everyone has to die, not everything you want can be yours." Cong's cruelty made Ha startled. Thanh also had to remind Cong: "Why are you talking nonsense to children?".
Cong wanted Long to sleep with him because he didn't know how many more days he would be able to sleep with his nephew.
Thanh planned to save Cong and his family.
Immediately after that, Thanh came up with a "special" plan and discussed it with his family in the hope of saving Cong's life as well as the whole family.
"He doesn't like people to comfort him, he likes cancer in a depressed, sad way. So I think we should play a counterattack..." - Thanh suggested.
Agreeing with Thanh's point of view, Danh (Thanh Son) added: "It may sound a bit harsh, but I think we should support Cong's negative way of thinking, maybe it will get results."
The whole family met to discuss "changing tactics" towards Cong.
After hearing her children's suggestion, Mrs. Cuc (People's Artist Lan Huong) seemed quite worried. However, seeing her eldest son thinking negatively and always mentioning death, she probably also hoped that Thanh's method could save Cong.
