The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project (invested by My Thuan Project Management Board) through Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai will be put into temporary operation from August 19. VEC has announced toll collection at Ring Road 3 toll station to serve vehicles traveling on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway.
The connecting intersection is designed in the form of a Trumpet, the Ring Road 3 Toll Station has 6 toll lanes (3 exit lanes, 3 entry lanes). The addition of the toll station does not increase costs but helps vehicle owners have more convenient route options.
The fee collection method is applied as follows:
- Vehicles entering from An Phu via Long Phuoc (7km): Charge toll as current.
- Vehicles entering An Phu and exiting Ring Road 3 (4km): Apply open station, charge 4km.
- Vehicles entering from Ring Road 3 to Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway: Applying the dual station model (open station and closed station), Long Phuoc Station is a transfer station.
- Vehicles going from Dong Nai to Long Phuoc Toll Station (HCMC: Applying the dual station model, Ring Road 3 Station both records open station transactions and is also the output of a closed station.
