More than 7,000 train tickets sold during Tet

DNO - To serve passengers during the peak period of the Lunar New Year 2024, the railway industry will organize 6 additional trains with more than 7,000 seats from Ho Chi Minh City to other localities during Tet.

On January 19, Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that in order to meet the needs of people returning to their hometowns to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2024, the railway industry will organize 6 more trains from Ho Chi Minh City to the north and add more train cars with more than 7,000 seats.

Specifically, the railway industry added trains TN4 and SE24 from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi on January 30 (December 20); trains SE14 and SE16 from Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh on January 31 (December 21); and train SPT4 from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet on February 11 and 12 (January 2 and 3).

Tickets will be available for sale at all railway ticket sales channels such as website: www.dsvn.vn; www.vetau.com.vn; via e-wallet applications, train ticket sales apps on mobile devices or contacting stations, ticket sales points and ticket agents of Vietnam Railways or calling the ticket sales hotline.

Previously, on December 26, 2023, the railway industry added 3,000 more seats (train tickets) for the first time from Saigon, Di An, Bien Hoa stations to stations from Quang Ngai to Hanoi and vice versa during the peak days of Tet Giap Thin 2024 from January 31 to February 19, 2024 (from December 21 to January 10).

At the same time, the railway industry also ran 8 more trains from Saigon - Hanoi and vice versa, from Quy Nhon, Quang Ngai to Saigon and added more train cars with more than 4,000 seats (train tickets).
