Meanwhile, with 3 wins, the Thai women's team successfully defended the championship.
In the remaining match of the final round, the Philippine girls defeated Indonesia with a score of 3-1 to finish third.
Closing the first stage of SEA V.League 2025, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team had 3 players winning individual awards.
Accordingly, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen received the title of "best opposite setter", Tran Thi Bich Thuy was the "best middle blocker" and Nguyen Khanh Dang was the "best libero".
The Thai champions had four individual awards, with Ajcharaporn being named the “best main attacker”, Thatdao being named the “best middle blocker”, Pornpun being named the “best setter” and Pimpichaya being named the MVP for “best all-round player”.
After stage 1, SEA V.League 2025 will continue with matches in stage 2 taking place from August 8 to 10 in Ninh Binh .
