Bich Tuyen, Bich Thuy, Khanh Dang are honored at SEA V.League 2025

VHO - At the end of the first stage of the Southeast Asian Women's Volleyball Tournament - SEA V.League 2025 in Ratchasima (Thailand), the Vietnamese women's volleyball team ranked second and had 3 players honored in individual awards.

On the evening of August 3, Ratchasima, the Vietnamese women's team played very hard but still lost 2-3 (25-23, 19-25, 25-21, 17-25, 11-15) to the Thai women's team, thereby finishing second in the first round of SEA V.League 2025.

Accordingly, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team continued to win the SEA V.League runner-up position, just like what they did in the two stages of last year's tournament.

Meanwhile, with 3 wins, the Thai women's team successfully defended the championship.

In the remaining match of the final round, the Philippine girls defeated Indonesia with a score of 3-1 to finish third.

Closing the first stage of SEA V.League 2025, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team had 3 players winning individual awards.

Bich Tuyen is the "best setter" in stage 1

Accordingly, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen received the title of "best opposite setter", Tran Thi Bich Thuy was the "best middle blocker" and Nguyen Khanh Dang was the "best libero".

The Thai champions had four individual awards, with Ajcharaporn being named the “best main attacker”, Thatdao being named the “best middle blocker”, Pornpun being named the “best setter” and Pimpichaya being named the MVP for “best all-round player”.

After stage 1, SEA V.League 2025 will continue with matches in stage 2 taking place from August 8 to 10 in Ninh Binh .
