Quang Ninh Provincial General Hospital and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region People's Hospital signed a medical cooperation agreement

On August 5, Quang Ninh Provincial General Hospital and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region People's Hospital (China) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation online.

Leaders of the two hospitals agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding.

Event marks an important step forward in bilateral medical cooperation in border areas, contributing to improving the quality of public health care and strengthening the friendship between the two sides. Accordingly, the two hospitals will carry out the goal of comprehensive coordination with 5 main pillars in the cooperation program including: Exchange of key specialized techniques (cardiovascular intervention, thoracic surgery, ophthalmology); training human resources through short-term training programs, courses, and periodic professional seminars; promoting scientific research, optimizing cross-border medical examination and treatment services and developing smart healthcare, applying artificial intelligence in remote consultation and sharing medical data.

Previously, on June 24, 2025, the delegation of the People's Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region visited and worked at Quang Ninh Provincial General Hospital; thereby helping the two sides enhance mutual understanding and trust, expand exchanges, learn expertise, and exchange experiences in the medical field. This is an important basis for the two sides to agree on the direction of comprehensive cooperation and move towards signing a memorandum of cooperation, concretizing the discussed contents into practical actions.

This is also one of the specific actions to realize the goal of international cooperation, promoting the improvement of professional quality in medical examination and treatment in Quang Ninh.
