Ben Cau: Blood donation campaign reached 102.5% compared to the same period in 2024

On the morning of June 9, at Ben Cau District Medical Center, the Regional Blood Transfusion Center of Cho Ray Hospital - Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with the Ben Cau District Red Cross Society and the district's departments and branches to organize the 3rd humanitarian blood donation session in 2025.

Officials, civil servants, armed forces, youth union members, members, and volunteers participate in the third humanitarian blood donation in 2025.

After 1 session of organizing examination, screening and blood donation, the Regional Blood Transfusion Center of Cho Ray Hospital - Ho Chi Minh City received 314 units of blood.

Among the 9 communes and towns of the district, Tien Thuan and Long Chu communes mobilized the most blood donors with 49 units; followed by An Thanh and Long Khanh communes with 40 units of blood; Long Giang commune with 38 units of blood; Loi Thuan, Long Thuan communes and Ben Cau town mobilized 27-30 units of blood; Long Phuoc commune with 15 units of blood.

Thus, through 3 rounds of humanitarian blood donation in 2025, Ben Cau district mobilized 1,246 units of blood, reaching 102.5% compared to the same period in 2024.
