On November 26, Hai Van Border Guard Station ( Da Nang City Border Guard Command) announced that the unit had just coordinated to arrest a woman who specialized in supplying drugs to addicts who are fishermen, divers, and workers in industrial parks (IPs) and Tho Quang fishing port and dock.
The suspect is Ton Nu Kim Chi (commonly known as Ry, 35 years old, from Thua Thien - Hue , temporarily residing at Phuoc Ly apartment building, Hoa An ward, Cam Le district).
Previously, at 1:30 p.m. on November 25, in front of the gate of NCT Secondary School (Man Thai Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang City), Hai Van Border Guard Station coordinated with Son Tra Border Guard Station and the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team of Cam Le District Police (Da Nang City) to catch Ton Nu Kim Chi red-handed selling drugs to Tran Viet Tai (37 years old, working as a diver).
Ton Nu Kim Chi was arrested and her residence was searched.
Evidence seized at the scene included 6 packages of crystal meth, weighing about 10 grams.
Continuing to urgently search Ton Nu Kim Chi's residence, Hai Van Border Guard Station seized another package of crystal meth and many tools for using and dividing drugs to sell to addicts.
According to initial confession, Chi has been buying and selling drugs for many years. Unlike many people who smuggle drugs into entertainment venues, Chi chose a separate "segment", mainly selling cheap drugs in the form of crystal meth, concentrated in the fishing port area, Tho Quang fishing port, and industrial parks in Da Nang city.
Chi's drug buyers were fishermen, divers, and workers. Currently, Hai Van Border Guard Station continues to expand the investigation to clarify according to the provisions of the law.
