Son La Newspaper, Radio and Television organized a conference to honor advanced models.

The first conference to honor typical advanced models, period 2025-2030.

In the period of 2020-2025, the unit has launched and implemented many patriotic emulation movements, associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example. The movements are specified in each field, focusing on innovation and improving the quality of publications in all types of press: Radio, television, print newspapers, electronic newspapers and digital platforms. Improve the quality of management and operation work; create press works: Fast, accurate, timely, good, effective; effectively use equipment, produce radio and television programs, quality press publications; ensure safe broadcasting transmission, network security, newspaper distribution; practice thrift, combat waste and embezzlement; promote administrative reform, public administration and digital transformation of the press.

The unit pays special attention to discovering, nurturing and replicating advanced models. On print publications, electronic newspapers, radio, television and digital platforms, it maintains many regular columns such as: "Advanced models", "Good people, good deeds", "Patriotic emulation". Along with that, it launches a new interface, develops 3 more specialized pages in English, Thai, and Mong; many columns, short videos , podcast news; applies AI technology; strongly develops information channels on Facebook, Zalo, YouTube, TikTok, to meet the diverse information needs of readers.

Each year, the unit publishes 261 printed newspapers, posting over 11,200 news, articles, and photos; releases 366 electronic newspapers with over 37,000 news, articles, photos, video clips, infographics, and short videos; broadcasts over 20,000 news, articles, reports, and radio and television columns; posts over 10,000 news and articles on social networks. Live radio and television programs are enhanced, maintaining regular broadcasting at 6:35 p.m. on STV and 24/7 rebroadcasting on VTV channel.

In addition, the unit also focuses on propagating and disseminating laws, reflecting social security activities, contributing to improving the effectiveness of sustainable hunger eradication and poverty reduction in the province. In the period of 2020-2025, Son La Newspaper and PTTH had many social security programs, helping communes in region 3 and the poor with a total value of more than 3 billion VND.

During the period of 2020-2025, Son La Newspaper and TVET achieved many outstanding achievements. 3 individuals were proposed to be awarded the Third Class Labor Medal; 5 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister; 1 individual was awarded the Creative Labor Certificate; 1 collective received the Emulation Flag of the Government. The unit was awarded 1 Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Information and Communications, 409 certificates of merit from central ministries and branches, 1 Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee, 109 certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee, 7 certificates of merit from provincial branches.

In the period of 2025-2030, Son La Newspaper and Television aims to continue to innovate the content, form and method of organizing emulation movements in a practical and effective direction; complete 100% of production and distribution targets for printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, radio and television; increase new production time to 5 hours/day for television and 5 hours/day for radio in many languages; strive for 100% of grassroots party organizations to complete their tasks well every year, of which 20% complete them excellently; admit 4 or more new party members; 95% of party members and civil servants complete their tasks well, of which 20% complete them excellently.

At the conference, the Editorial Board of Son La Newspaper and High School awarded certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 14 typical advanced individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for the period 2020-2025.
