Conversion table of assessment scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University with combinations

GD&TĐ - Ho Chi Minh City National University announced the equivalent conversion table between the capacity assessment score and the high school graduation exam score with the subject groups A01, B00, C01 and D01.

The competency assessment exam is organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025.

In total, the exam attracted about 152,800 candidates with more than 223,000 exams. The average score for both exams was 662.78. The top scorer scored 1,122/1,200 points. The lowest score was 120 points.

This exam result is used by more than 110 universities and colleges for admission this year.

According to Ho Chi Minh City National University, most candidates taking the competency assessment test and having high school graduation scores in 4 groups A01 (Math, Physics, English), B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C01 (Math, Literature, Physics), D01 (Math, Literature, English).

According to this university's calculation, the score range between the top percentiles (%) of the competency assessment scores is different when compared with each combination of high school graduation exam scores.

For example, candidates who score 901-898 points (on a scale of 1,200) are assessed to be in the top 15% of their ability, corresponding to 23.25-23.1 points for the A01 block exam.

However, when compared with group D01, the top 15% of the competency assessment test had scores of around 875-870, corresponding to 21.95-21.8 points on the high school graduation exam.

This year, member universities of Ho Chi Minh City National University use 3 main admission methods: Direct admission, priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Ho Chi Minh City National University; Considering capacity assessment test scores; Considering 2025 high school graduation exam scores.
