(Dan Tri) - The band Boney M and many world- famous artists will perform for music lovers at Lam Vien Square in Da Lat.
On December 20, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Da Lat City People's Committee to hold a press conference to announce the international music event Dalat Spring Concert.
According to information from the People's Committee of Lam Dong province, Dalat Spring Concert is the first annual international music project in Da Lat, organized according to international standards. The event will take place at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat city at 7:30 p.m. on December 21.
Mr. Pham S, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, said that Dalat Spring Concert aims to spread the image of Dalat as a creative city in the field of music recognized by UNESCO, and at the same time aims to build Dalat into a world-class music destination.
The event features world music legends such as Boney M Liz Mitchell, Joy and Samantha Fox and is completely free. It is known that Boney M Liz Mitchell, Joy and Samantha Fox are world music legends of the 1970s and 1980s. Except for Samantha Fox, all of them have performed in Vietnam.
According to the organizer, this is the first time the artists have come to Da Lat city to participate in the Dalat Spring Concert . To prepare for the event, the organizer has prepared a meticulous and elaborate sound system to create the most realistic sound quality.
The organizer also purchased musical instruments produced more than 20 years ago for the artists to perform, in order to recreate the "quality" of Disco music familiar to millions of Boney M fans.
The Dalat Spring Concert music program is part of the series of cultural and artistic activities of the 10th Dalat Flower Festival in 2024.
