The Economic - Budget Committee reviews the content of the regular mid-year meeting of the Provincial People's Council.

On the morning of June 23, the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council organized an examination of the content submitted to the 30th session (regular mid-2025) of the 19th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026. The Economic - Budget Committee reviewed the following contents: Report on the plan to allocate and supplement the public investment plan for 2025 (phase 4); Report on the socio-economic situation and the direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee in the first 6 months of the year, tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2025; Report on the assessment of the implementation of public investment in the first 6 months of the year, tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2025; Report on the implementation of the State budget estimate in the first 6 months of the year, directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025; Plan to adjust the State budget estimate in 2025 when reorganizing administrative units at all levels, organizing local governments at 2 levels; Report explaining the 2024 budget settlement; Proposal on the recovery and supplementation of the public investment capital plan targets in 2025 for districts, towns and cities; Proposal to approve the List of land lots for bidding to select investors using land; Proposal for the list of works and projects that must recover land, projects that must change land use purposes with rice growing land area in 2025 in Yen Phong district; Proposal on the agreement in principle to assign the Hanoi People's Committee as the competent authority to implement the route section located in the direction of Hanoi city but located in the administrative boundary of Tu Son city, Bac Ninh province, on the route connecting Gia Binh airport with Hanoi capital.

Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Thi Hang basically agreed with the content of the reports and the Proposal; requested that the relevant departments and branches focus on reviewing and assessing the difficulties and obstacles after merging provinces, communes, wards and towns and implementing the 2-level government model, with contents that have many difficulties, it is necessary to coordinate with relevant agencies to fully prepare documents according to regulations to submit to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and approval of policies at the 30th session.

The Economic - Budget Committee requests that the competent authorities complete the contents of the Submissions and reports so that the Committee can prepare an appraisal report and draft a Resolution to submit to the Provincial People's Council for consideration, discussion and decision at the regular meeting in mid-2025.
