On the morning of September 15, at the National Assembly House, the National Election Council held its second meeting under the chairmanship of Politburo member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Election Council.

Attending were Politburo members: Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh , Vice Chairman of the National Election Council; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien, Vice Chairman of the National Election Council; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia.
