FPT cooperates with Ca Mau in comprehensive digital transformation and training high-quality human resources

FPT and the People's Committee of Ca Mau province signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement on digital transformation and human resource development until 2030.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, General Director ofFPT Group represented the signing of comprehensive cooperation for the period 2025-2030.

On September 17, FPT Corporation and the People's Committee of Ca Mau province signed a comprehensive digital transformation cooperation agreement to mobilize resources to build a digital platform, improve the effectiveness of government management and administration, promote the development of the digital economy and digital society, and make Ca Mau one of the leading localities in digital transformation in Vietnam.

According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides will promote comprehensive digital transformation, mobilize resources, support Ca Mau in developing digital platforms, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of government management and administration, and at the same time promote extensive digital transformation to people and businesses, making Ca Mau soon become one of the leading localities in the country in digital transformation, with three pillars: digital government - digital economy - digital society.

FPT will transfer technological advances, especially in the fields of telecommunications and information technology, as well as train quality human resources, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals set out in the Central resolutions and plans, while promoting sustainable socio-economic development in Ca Mau province.

Representative of FPT Corporation, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa shared that regarding education, FPT wishes to invest in building educational facilities from general schools to vocational training facilities in Ca Mau province by 2030, focusing on high-quality training.

This is the foundation to promote and develop the province's high-quality human resources and increase investment attraction for the province. FPT will form a high-quality inter-level education model, deploy a vocational training system based on the local economic development strategy.

Regarding digital transformation, FPT will coordinate to review and evaluate the current status of the province's digital infrastructure to propose solutions to upgrade and complete data infrastructure and provide advanced digital platforms, ensuring information security and effectively serving the development of the digital economy and digital society.

FPT is in charge of digital transformation for a number of ministries and departments. The group will apply the experience learned during its work with Ca Mau.

To improve the capacity of the province's staff, FPT will deploy specialized training programs for officials and managers at all levels of the province, including "digital literacy" courses using artificial intelligence to improve work performance.

In addition, FPT will promote technology equipment for local businesses so that they have more capacity and confidence in digital transformation.

“Building quality human resources, promoting technology, accelerating education and training are the core of FPT’s investment. The ultimate goal is to create a better life for people,” FPT General Director emphasized.

At the same time, FPT will advise and deploy digital transformation solutions in priority areas such as healthcare, education, agriculture, environment, and tourism. Especially in the healthcare sector, FPT will support the standardization of medical data, deploy electronic medical records, electronic health records, and apply big data technology and artificial intelligence to support medical staff, contributing to the transition from public administration to public governance.

Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai - Provincial Party Secretary concluded that the signing of the agreement is the first step in implementing the action, the ministries and branches will consider consulting FPT to jointly develop a specific plan. The Group with extensive experience in investment will share more, creating favorable conditions for the province to quickly resolve procedures. The cooperation between the two sides is for the common goal - people are better served, conditions for more complete development.

At the same time, Ca Mau will promote the FPT brand to the people, giving priority to businesses in a number of provincial programs. In the immediate future, the province will move towards the Congress with the determination to organize a "paperless Congress". Therefore, the provincial leaders hope that FPT will coordinate the implementation based on its technological strengths, supporting the Congress to be successfully organized.

The two sides agreed to continue working side by side and promoting the model of public-private partnership to realize the Central Committee's "Quad Resolutions": Resolution 57 on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, Resolution 59 on foreign affairs, Resolution 66 on perfecting legal institutions, and Resolution 68 on developing the private economy into an important driving force of the economy.
