Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen - Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security chaired the ceremony. Also attending the ceremony were representatives of leaders of Central Committees, Ministries, and sectors, international delegations, local Public Security and more than 5,000 coaches, athletes, and referees attending the Congress.

On behalf of Lam Dong Provincial Police, Colonel Dau Xuan Bao - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police attended the ceremony and spent time meeting and encouraging the athletes of the Provincial Police Team. He acknowledged the serious spirit, efforts to overcome difficulties during the training process and expressed his confidence in the spirit of solidarity, discipline and responsibility of the whole team, with the expectation that each athlete will compete with all their might and achieve high results at the Congress.


The opening ceremony took place in a solemn and colorful atmosphere, starting with the art and epic program “The Flame from the Heart”, followed by the Ceremony and Festival “Glory to My Fatherland”. The combination of modern performance technology, vivid sound and light and elaborate staging brought about eye-catching performances, leaving many emotions in the hearts of the audience.

The participation of many artists, actors, and students from the People's Public Security Academy contributed to creating a unique art program, honoring the journey of formation, development, and dedication of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force; at the same time, clearly depicting the spread of the physical education, sports, and command movements throughout the force through historical periods. The audience seemed to relive the heroic history of the nation, feeling the strong, vibrant atmosphere spreading through each art performance associated with the revolutionary journey and the great role of the People's Public Security Force.

Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen emphasized that over the past 80 years, the People's Public Security force has always been absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; it is the "steel shield, the sharp sword" firmly protecting national security and social order and safety. In practice, there have emerged many examples of dedicated, intelligent, brave officers and soldiers, ready to sacrifice for the peace of the country and the happiness of the people. To meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation, the Deputy Minister requested that each officer and soldier constantly renew their thinking, improve their qualifications, political mettle, train their physical strength and moral qualities, to always be close to the people, understand the people, and serve the people.

This year's Health Congress will be held in two phases, lasting from August 2024 to August 2025 in five localities including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Thua Thien Hue, Lam Dong and Phu Tho. Phase 1 will gather nearly 12,000 officers and soldiers from 126 delegations; Phase 2 will see the participation of 70 delegations with over 2,000 athletes.

The scale of the Health Congress has 115 competitions in 10 sports, including: application running, application swimming, healthy police soldiers, professional sports of fire fighting, rescue, 7-a-side men's football, badminton, table tennis, tennis and chess... The competition of regulations, military and martial arts includes 18 competitions in 3 subjects: police regulations (theory and practice), martial arts and military.

Participating in the final round of this Congress, Lam Dong Provincial Police established a team of 148 officers and soldiers selected from units and localities. After more than a month of high-intensity training, the whole team demonstrated high determination, overcame all difficulties, maintained discipline and solidarity to be ready to compete at the highest level.
