The result of our cooperation

Identifying the task of XNT and NDN as one of the key contents in social security work, and at the same time an important criterion in new rural construction, in recent times, Ninh Chau commune has implemented many practical solutions, mobilizing the drastic participation of the entire political system to join hands in XNT and NDN for policy beneficiaries, poor and near-poor households.

Chairman of Ninh Chau Commune People's Committee Le Ngoc Huan said that the commune has established a Steering Committee for the Project on Rural Development and the Rural Development, clearly assigning responsibilities to each member. The Steering Committee has developed a specific plan, set targets for each stage, prioritizing households with especially difficult circumstances, policy families, and poor single households. In regular meetings, commune leaders have reviewed and evaluated this content, thereby promptly removing difficulties and obstacles. Along with that, the work of reviewing and making a list of households eligible for support is carried out publicly, transparently, ensuring the right subjects.

Propaganda work is carried out through loudspeakers, party cell and village meetings, helping people understand that this is not only material support, but also a deeply humane policy, aiming to create conditions for disadvantaged households to stabilize their housing, settle down and find work.

Commune and village-level organizations actively participated in helping poor households in the process of building houses; propagandizing and mobilizing more funds, labor days, and construction materials to support people. In addition, many socio-political organizations and philanthropists donated and supported in cash and kind to disadvantaged households, contributing to supporting many poor households to improve their lives.

Up to now, Ninh Chau commune has completed the construction and repair of 143 houses for local people. Of which: The housing support program for people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives is 122 households (22 newly built households, 100 repaired and renovated households); the program to support XNT, NDN for poor and near-poor households is 21 households (6 newly built households, 15 repaired and renovated households) with a total cost of more than 7 billion VND.

New look

The XNT and NDN programs have brought about positive changes, not only helping people have stable housing but also contributing to changing the face of rural areas, promoting socio -economic development. Supporting the construction of solid houses not only helps people stabilize their lives and settle down, but also motivates them to escape poverty sustainably.

In her new, spacious house in Hien Loc village, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xan could not hide her emotion. Having lived for many years in a dilapidated, rickety house, she now has a solid, clean and beautiful home.

“Before, every rainy season, I was very worried because my house was leaky and dilapidated. Now that we have a new, solid and clean house, my family feels like it has been given more strength to move forward. We are extremely grateful for the attention of the Party, the State and the local government,” Ms. Xan shared.

The new house not only eliminates the worries of every rainy and stormy season, but also serves as a great source of motivation and strength for many families with preferential policies and difficult circumstances. The family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Le Vinh in Quang Xa village has just realized the dream of a solid home after many years of living in a temporary, degraded house.

The difficult life made her family never dare to think about having a new house. However, thanks to the attention of the Party Committee, authorities at all levels and the help of relatives and neighbors, now, that dream has become a reality.

“I am very touched to receive the attention and support from the State and authorities at all levels to build houses. This is a great source of encouragement, both materially and spiritually, for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs like us to stabilize our lives,” Ms. Vinh expressed.

Secretary of Ninh Chau Commune Party Committee Nguyen Ngoc Thu affirmed: “The commune will continue to effectively integrate the new rural construction program, sustainable poverty reduction, long-term livelihood support for households to stabilize their lives; mobilize more support from organizations, businesses and children from far away hometowns to help people in difficult circumstances, leaving no one behind on the path of development, towards building a rich and civilized Ninh Chau”.

According to Chairman of Ninh Chau Commune People's Committee Le Ngoc Huan, the XNT and NDN program is not only about building houses but also about building trust and hope for a bright future for the people. Thanks to that, the rural appearance is increasingly renewed, stable and developing. In the coming time, Ninh Chau commune will continue to promote the strength of the community, determined not to let the situation of temporary houses and NDN recur; at the same time, effectively implement other social security programs and policies, aiming at the goal of sustainable development, improving the quality of life for the people.

Joining hands for the goal of settling down the people, the XNT and NDN program in Ninh Chau does not stop at numbers, but also lights up the belief in a stable and prosperous life right on the homeland. This is also a testament to the attention of the Party, the State and the whole community for people with difficult housing circumstances, especially those who have contributed to the revolution and relatives of martyrs.
