Agribank absorbs over 2.1 million billion VND

Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) has just announced that Agribank's mobilized capital as of June 30 reached over 2.1 million billion VND, an increase of 6.4% compared to the beginning of the year, the highest since 2021.

As of June 30, Agribank 's mobilized capital reached over VND 2.1 million billion, up 6.4% compared to the beginning of the year, the highest since 2021, of which residential deposits accounted for a large proportion. Agribank's capital grew steadily, meeting customers' demand for loans to develop production and business, capital use efficiency was improved, ensuring safety ratios according to regulations of the State Bank. Agribank's outstanding loans to the economy reached over VND 1.85 million billion, up 7.6% compared to the beginning of the year, higher than the same period in 2024. Of which, outstanding loans to agriculture and rural areas reached over VND 1.13 million billion, accounting for over 61% of outstanding loans to the economy.

In recent times, Agribank has promptly resolved difficulties, increased access to capital for people and businesses; reduced costs, and reduced lending interest rates to support customers. Agribank has also promptly implemented 13 credit programs and products worth VND400,000 billion to boost credit growth from the beginning of the year; increased the scale and expanded the scope of credit programs for the agricultural, forestry and fishery sectors to VND20,000 billion. Agribank has effectively implemented 7 policy credit programs and national target programs on new rural construction and sustainable poverty reduction... Agribank's capital has been supporting large-scale agricultural production models, high-tech agriculture, clean agriculture, development of raw material areas associated with deep processing, agricultural product linkage chains, enhancing the added value and competitiveness of Vietnamese agricultural products.
