Agribank Le Thuy branch: Support over 150 million VND to help poor students

QTO - On the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2025 - 2026, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) Le Thuy branch has launched the program "Accompanying poor students to overcome difficulties". Accordingly, Agribank Le Thuy branch has donated 580 gifts, totaling 116 million VND to disadvantaged students at schools in 7 communes of the old Le Thuy district.

Along with that, Agribank Le Thuy branch also allocated an additional 35 million VND from the Social Security Fund to support teaching tools and children's toys for kindergartens in the area, contributing to improving teaching and learning conditions at the preschool level.

According to Mr. Mai Van Ky, Director of Agribank Le Thuy branch, the program "Accompanying poor students to overcome difficulties" is maintained by the unit every time the new school year begins, demonstrating the long-term commitment of the Agribank banking system to share difficulties with poor students, students in especially difficult circumstances, students with disabilities... contributing to the development of education and training in the province.
