On the morning of August 8, at My Dinh National Stadium, Hanoi , the training atmosphere of 68 soldiers from the Army Officer School 1 took place urgently and seriously. These are soldiers who once represented the Vietnam People's Army in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War at Red Square, Moscow (Russian Federation) in 2025. Now, they are urgently preparing for a special mission - participating in the political art program "Fatherland in the Heart" taking place on the evening of August 10 at My Dinh.
The program was organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with Hanoi People's Committee, as a key cultural and political activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2. Not only is it a large-scale music night with about 50,000 live attendees and millions of viewers watching on television, "Fatherland in the Heart" is also an artistic space to honor history, spread patriotism and the indomitable will of the nation.
The presence of the marching formation on Red Square brought a special highlight to the program.
These are not only brave and disciplined soldiers, representing the beautiful image of the Vietnamese Army in the international arena, but also symbols of the spirit of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new era - brave, disciplined, modern and always ready for any mission.
The highlight of the concert was the scene of "the army marching among the people" in a solemn yet intimate atmosphere. In order for the performance to be successful, the soldiers had practiced for many days, getting used to the stage. At the practice session on the morning of August 8, every marching movement, every step, every gesture was performed precisely and in unison by the soldiers.
The training ground was silent as the soldiers focused their attention. Over the past weeks, they had practiced together and coordinated well to be able to deliver a performance that would demonstrate the spirit, discipline and strength of the Vietnam People’s Army in the upcoming music night.
"For me, whether standing in the middle of Red Square or in the 'Homeland in the Heart' program, the emotions are still intact: pride, solemnity and responsibility. We always carry within us the spirit of patriotism, love of peace and belief in the strength of national unity," a soldier participating in the parade shared.
The contingent participating in the parade at Red Square was carefully selected from thousands of excellent officers, lecturers and students of the 1st Army Officer School.
This is a force that has undergone thorough training and has experience performing in an international environment, so they are very professional and proactive in the training process.
The program "Fatherland in the Heart" recreates the historical milestones of the country associated with the image of the red flag with yellow star, a symbol of patriotism. The audience will experience an emotional music night, ending with an 8-minute fireworks display at the F1 racetrack, with 300 high-altitude fireworks and 60 low-altitude fireworks.
The stage is designed in a V shape, 26 m high, with four areas named: Independence, Freedom, Happiness, Red Flag with Yellow Star.
Free tickets are uniquely designed, printed with the original handwritten copy of the song “Tien Quan Ca”, encouraging the audience to wear red flag shirts with yellow stars and sing the National Anthem in unison, covering the My Dinh stadium in red.
The political art program "Fatherland in the Heart" takes place at 8:00 p.m. on August 10 at My Dinh National Stadium.
The show will be broadcast live on Hanoi Radio and Television (Hanoi2 channel) and rebroadcast on local radio and television stations; Livestream on Nhan Dan Newspaper fanpage, Hanoi International Light Festival and other social media channels.
