On June 25, a leader of the Department of Home Affairs of Ca Mau province confirmed that Mr. Ta Hoang Hien, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Mr. Nguyen Minh Ai, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Ca Mau, had just submitted applications for early retirement.
"Mr. Ta Hoang Hien has sent a petition to our unit; and Mr. Nguyen Minh Ai has sent a petition to the provincial leaders," the leader of the Department of Home Affairs added.

On the same day, speaking with Thanh Nien reporter, Mr. Ta Hoang Hien also confirmed that he had submitted an application for early retirement and was waiting for it to be resolved. "I have been deputy director of the department for 4 terms. I think I should step back and let some younger brothers replace me," Mr. Hien said.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Ai also confirmed that he had submitted an application for early retirement according to his personal wishes.
Before holding the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Ca Mau in October 2021, Mr. Ai held the position of Head of the Management Board of Ca Mau Economic Zone.
