Volleyball world website Volleybox organizes predictions before each match, and up to 18% of fans predict that Vietnam will continue to create an earthquake at the U21 World Cup - defeating Argentina in the 4th match.
It should be noted that Volleybox is a popular website with European fans. This prediction vote is therefore quite "fair" as there are no Vietnamese fans flooding in.
When Vietnam faced Serbia in the second match, the percentage of world fans believing in the chance of victory of coach Nguyen Trong Linh and his team was only... 0%.
This result simply reflects the position of the volleyball world of the two countries, when Serbia is always in the top 10 in the world, while Vietnam in general is still not recognized by the world volleyball community as strong as Thailand.
But the resounding victory over Serbia made the volleyball fan community reconsider the ability of U21 Vietnam. In the match against Canada, the confidence rate of the Vietnamese girls increased to 27%, and coach Nguyen Trong Linh and his team once again created a surprise.
In the 4th match, Vietnam's opponent is Argentina. At the national team level, Argentina is not too strong, but at the youth team level, they are a power in volleyball, currently ranked 7th in the world, 18 places higher than Vietnam.
A poll on Volleybox shows that 10% of world volleyball fans predict Vietnam to win 3-2, and 5% predict Vietnam to win 3-1.
On the contrary, 43% of fans still believe that U21 Argentina will win easily with a score of 3-0.
