With the theme “Converging global resources to develop a creative startup ecosystem and local innovative startups”, the forum focuses on three major focuses: Sharing new trends in startups, innovation, application of artificial intelligence, e-commerce and digital economy ; connecting cooperation between startups, investors, domestic and foreign venture capital funds; shaping the role of Quang Ninh in the national startup network, towards deep international cooperation.
In particular, the Quang Ninh Innovation and Startup Summit will be a highlight, with the participation of leaders of central ministries and branches, the National Innovation Center (NIC), embassies, international organizations (France, Korea, Japan, Israel, Australia, etc.), and hundreds of typical startups.
In his welcoming speech, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vu Van Dien affirmed that Quang Ninh province is committed to continuing to improve local mechanisms, policies and regulations in an innovation-friendly direction, promoting task ordering, science and technology transfer, public procurement for innovative products, prioritizing open data and digital infrastructure serving businesses. Developing "testing spaces" for AI, smart tourism, logistics, cultural-entertainment industry, night-time economy; strengthening regional connectivity and international cooperation. Accompanying startups through seed capital, legal-intellectual property consultancy, connecting experts and investors.
In recent years, Quang Ninh has always maintained its leading position in the country in terms of provincial competitiveness index (PCI), administrative reform, digital transformation (DTI) and innovation index; In particular, Quang Ninh's local innovation index (PII) has been in the top 10 provinces and cities with the highest scores for many years. In the goal of sustainable development, Quang Ninh always identifies creative startups as an important driving force to promote growth, diversify economic models and arouse the aspirations of the young generation.
The forum is not only of national stature but also an opportunity for state management agencies, businesses, startups, creative startups, scientists, experts and domestic and foreign investors to discuss, share and update global trends in creative startups, AI applications and e-commerce, and digital transformation.
Through the Forum, the Organizing Committee hopes to promote creativity, innovation and cooperation towards sustainable and advanced business, contributing to building a creative, enthusiastic and responsible business community; especially in Quang Ninh province - one of the leading localities in innovation and economic development.
In addition to thematic discussions, the forum also has activities to honor 15 typical innovative organizations and startups that have made many contributions to the startup ecosystem. This year's forum is expected to be a place to connect, share experiences, and promote cooperation between domestic and foreign experts, businesses, and investors.
On this occasion, Quang Ninh province launched the Creative Startup Campaign in Quang Ninh province until 2030 with the message: "10 thousand enterprises with publications on business and creative startups"; signed cooperation to promote creative startup activities.
In the context of globalization and digital transformation, the National Startup Forum 2025 is not only a "playground" for young entrepreneurs, but also demonstrates Quang Ninh's active participation in implementing the goals and tasks of Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
This is also a testament to Quang Ninh's determination to create a strong innovation ecosystem that is both internationally integrated and associated with sustainable development, ensuring harmony between economic growth and social and environmental responsibility.
The 7th National Innovation and Startup Forum - Quang Ninh 2025 is expected to add strength to the province's startup projects to expand international cooperation, take advantage of global resources, create a boost for the startup movement, arouse the desire for innovation and creativity, and build Quang Ninh to develop rapidly and sustainably in the digital age.
