On the afternoon of June 13, the Vietnam U19 women's team defeated the Laos U19 women's team 8-0 in the final round of Group A of the 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Women's Championship held at Thong Nhat Stadium.

Facing a weaker opponent like Laos U19 Women's Team, Coach Okiyama Masahiko continued to make adjustments to the starting lineup compared to the first two matches. However, the Vietnam U19 Women's Team still easily created a one-sided game throughout the match.
In the fourth minute, Thuc Nghi passed the ball across the field for Le Thi Trang to escape and shoot diagonally to open the score for the home team. Five minutes later, Le Thi Trang dribbled the ball as if there was no one on the left wing before scoring, raising the score to 2-0.
In the remaining minutes of the first half, the U19 Lao women's team, despite their best efforts in defense, could not stop the Vietnamese female strikers. Four more goals were scored by Thu Trang (minute 14), Thuc Nghi (minute 17), Hoang Van (minutes 28 and 36).
In the second half, coach Okiyama Masahiko continued to test new players and let key players rest for the semi-final match.
However, the Vietnam U19 women's team still managed to score two more goals by Hoai Trinh (minute 49) and Hoang Van (minute 77), ending a resounding 8-0 victory.
In the remaining match of Group A, Myanmar U19 women's team defeated Timor Leste U19 women's team 7-0. With three wins, scoring 16 goals and conceding no goals, the Vietnam U19 women's team excellently won the top spot of Group A. Myanmar U19 women's team ranked second with 6 points.
In Group B, the defending champion U19 women's team Thailand beat U19 women's team Cambodia 4-0, U19 women's team Indonesia beat U19 women's team Malaysia 4-0.
Thus, the two semi-final matches on June 16 at Thong Nhat Stadium will take place between Thailand U19 women's team - Myanmar U19 women's team (3:00 p.m.) and Vietnam U19 women's team - Indonesia U19 women's team (6:30 p.m.).
