Tan Thoi Commune held a meeting to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27

(ABO) On July 25, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Thoi commune, Dong Thap province held a meeting to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025) at two locations: Tan Binh and Tan Thanh hamlets.

Delegates visited the Martyrs' Monument of Tan Thoi commune.

Before the meeting, the leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, along with all cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces and people visited the memorial house to register the names of martyrs of the commune.

At the meeting, delegates and families of policy beneficiaries together reviewed the glorious tradition of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27. Every year, the Party and State always pay attention to and take care of families of martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers, and people with meritorious services to the revolution with specific and practical actions, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of policy beneficiaries to be equal to or higher than the living standards of the community.

Representing the family of a typical revolutionary contributor in Tan Thoi commune, war invalid Dang Van Thua said that under the leadership of the Party Committee and the commune government, the lives of the people, including families with meritorious services, have become increasingly stable and developed.
