Leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kieu Phu commune and a large number of cadres, party members and people in the commune attended the ceremony to offer incense, flowers and light candles in gratitude at the graves of heroic martyrs. Also participating in the ceremony were cadres and soldiers of Center 95, Electronic Warfare Department; Regiment 58, Battalions 14, 15, 16 - Division 308.


Speaking at the candle lighting ceremony at the Can Huu martyrs' cemetery, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kieu Phu commune Nguyen Thi Thu Trang said: In the solemn and sacred atmosphere of the ceremony, cadres, party members and people of Kieu Phu commune gathered together at 5 martyrs' cemeteries and memorials in the area to commemorate, pay tribute and express deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs - the outstanding children of Kieu Phu homeland and the whole nation who devoted their whole lives to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.
“At this sacred moment, on behalf of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kieu Phu commune, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs; send my warm regards and sincere gratitude to the heroic Vietnamese mothers, wounded and sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, and all families of those who have contributed to the revolution,” emphasized Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang.
Sharing with reporters, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Kieu Phu Commune, Phung Huy Dien, said: During the years of resistance war, Kieu Phu's hometown sent thousands of sons off to join the army, fighting for national independence. Among them, many outstanding sons of the homeland heroically sacrificed, leaving a part of their flesh and blood on the battlefield.

Over the years, the Party Committee, the government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kieu Phu commune and the local people have always paid attention to implementing policies for people with revolutionary contributions; regularly organizing activities of "Repaying gratitude", "Drinking water, remembering its source", taking care of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and martyrs' families, supporting the construction and repair of gratitude houses, visiting and encouraging both materially and spiritually.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the People's Committee of Kieu Phu commune coordinated to donate 1,367 gifts worth over 438 million VND to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers, and people with revolutionary contributions. At the same time, the commune coordinated to organize activities to clean up, sanitize the environment, trim and decorate 5 martyrs' cemeteries and Ngoc My memorial...
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kieu Phu commune coordinated to organize working delegations to visit and present gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and policy families; mobilized socialization to donate 19 clean water meters to typical households in the commune.
