Regarding the construction progress of the Hanoi Ring Road 3.5 project (from Thang Long Avenue to National Highway 32), the People's Committee of Hoai Duc district said that, up to now, phase 1 of the project (from Thang Long Avenue to Hau Ai bridge) has completed 90% of the work volume.

Beltway 3.5 from Thang Long Boulevard to National Highway 32 is still unable to open to traffic due to land acquisition problems.

The output of phase 2 (from Hau Ai bridge to QL32 intersection) reached 78% and phase 3 (600m long, starting in June 2023) reached 32%.

According to local assessments, the biggest obstacle preventing the Ring Road 3.5 project from reaching its finish line is the Vuon Chuoi (Kim Chung) archaeological site, which is about 6,000 square meters wide and occupies most of the road surface, which is being excavated.

"Currently, the relocation work at the site has reached about 30% progress. It is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2025 to hand over the site for the project," said a representative of the Hoai Duc District People's Committee.
